About this opportunity:

The Manager of Subsea IMR and Field Support is accountable to manage the inspection, maintenance, and repair of the White Rose Field subsea assets to maintain system integrity and process safety.

This position is a full time, permanent position, located at our St. John’s office.

What you’ll do:

  • Accountable to deliver safe and efficient Subsea IMR workscopes in accordance with Cenovus operational integrity management system and core values

  • Coordinate the activities and priorities of the Subsea IMR vessel to support the White Rose Field

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team for technical support to the operation, maintenance, installation, and intervention of subsea equipment

  • Manage Subsea IMR OPEX budget

  • Interface with internal stakeholders (Subsea Assets & Engineering, Marine Services and Logistics, SSDCI, etc.) for planning and execution of subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair workscopes and other subsea or marine services

  • Manage Cenovus Subsea IMR offshore rotation and on-call schedule

  • Administer the service agreements supporting IMR activities

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree, P. Eng

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in progressively responsible engineering, offshore construction/intervention and project leadership roles within the oil and gas industry

  • Experience directing subsea installation/repair activities and leading a team

  • Experience working with flexible risers, mooring systems, and subsea production assets

  • Strong understanding of risk-based integrity management process for safety critical equipment

  • Experience in the planning and management of offshore SIMOPS Experience implementing Project Management best practices

  • Training in project management and leadership

This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to pre-placement Fitness for Work assessments, which includes drug and alcohol screening, a medical and driver’s abstract review.
