Position: Personal Support Worker Instructor for Adult Continuing Education DepartmentSmiths Falls

Salary: Continuing Education Rate ($47.70/hourly)
FTE: 1 Position Available
Effective: September 2, 2025 - June 26, 2026
Summary:
Courses will be held in the above listed locations pending sufficient enrollment. Courses will be held Monday to Friday. Teachers are required to work as part of a team to guide and further develop the PSW program. Instructors are required to deliver in-class components of the Personal Support Worker program (330 hours), evaluate progress of students, and create reports for students' performance and challenges. Instructors are required to facilitate the co-op component of the Personal Support Worker program, including supervising students in clinical environment (80 hours) and monitor students in the co-op environment (min 270 hours). There is potential for day and evening shifts.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse Holding current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Hold a current Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification (If no candidates with an OCT apply, other RN candidates will be considered)
- Minimum of 3 years working in Health Care
- Qualifications with respect to specialized subjects will be required, as per Ministry regulations
