Description
The successful applicant will work in compliance with all relevant and applicable legislation and Hospital Policies and Procedures, will practice the Bluewater Health Standards of Performance Excellence and will fulfill their role within the Attendance Support Program parameters. The successful applicant will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

-Current CMRITO registration as M.R.T.(R.) required
-Current IV Certification preferred
-Completion of a recognized CT course preferred
-Current CAMRT registration preferred
Skill, Ability and Experience:
-Recent related experience in various CT examinations including CT angiography and interventional procedures, or commitment to achieve required
-Demonstrated proficiency in IVs and/or completion of a recognized IV certification course, or commitment to achieve required
-Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and prioritization skills required
-Basic proficiency in the use of computers required
-Ability to meet the physical demands of the position required
-Experience in CT and as a Gastric technologist, or willing to train in both - required
-Experience with electronic Health Information Systems preferred
-Safely and efficiently operate imaging equipment in line with CMRITO Standards of Practice
-Capture high-quality diagnostic images and ensure timely transmission to PACS
-Support continuous quality improvement within the department and hospital-wide initiatives
-Stay current with professional development and educational requirements
-Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
-Multisite responsibilities: Sarnia and Petrolia
-Other related duties as assigned
