Professional Intern - Service Drive - Birchwood Honda West Full-Time, TERM Summer Internship Position Start date: May (Flexible), End Date: end of August
Overview:
The Service Drive Vehicle Acquisition Internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in customer retention, data-driven vehicle acquisition. The intern will support the dealership’s service-drive acquisition strategy by utilizing AutoAlert to identify equity opportunities and assist in customer engagement efforts under management supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Utilize AutoAlert to identify equity mining and vehicle acquisition opportunities through the service department
· Review service drive appointments to identify eligible and targeted customers
· Assist in preparing customer equity summaries and acquisition opportunities
· Support customer outreach efforts (calls, emails, texts) under supervision
· Coordinate with Service Advisors and Sales Management to align customer engagement
· Assist with scheduling appraisal appointments and sales consultations
· Track and update customer activity and outcomes within AutoAlert and CRM systems
· Support follow-up processes and reporting on service-drive acquisition efforts
· Participate in training sessions related to AutoAlert, Honda products, and dealership processes
· Assist with special projects or reports aligned with academic program requirements
Learning Objectives
· This internship supports the development of the following academic and professional competencies:
· Apply data analysis and CRM concepts in an automotive retail environment
· Understand service-drive marketing and customer retention strategies
· Develop professional communication and customer engagement skills
· Gain exposure to vehicle appraisal and acquisition processes
· Learn cross-department collaboration between Sales and Service
· A valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation to work is required.
· Must be available to work from the dealership
