Job Summary:

The Automotive Technician plays an integral role with Roblin Ford achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction after the purchase of a vehicle. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge, to estimate time of service and repair needed, and to diagnose and complete the required work right the first time. Using industry-leading technology, the Automotive Technician will diagnose repairs required on a wide range of vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Technician Level 2 and up are welcome to apply

• Ability to diagnose and problem solve independently

• Comfortable leveraging technology for most day to day repairs

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where optimal production is supported

• High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills

• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clear driver's abstract

Nestled beside Goose Lake (the fly fishing capital of Manitoba), Roblin is the first town that greets you in Manitoba as you travel east on highway 5. Just 14km from the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border and the Lake of the Prairies, Roblin offers many activities to enjoy on land and water.

Originally named Goose Lake, the town was renamed to Roblin (after the premier of Manitoba at that time) in 1904, just after the first train came to town on the newly constructed railway in 1903.
