Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Contract Bilingual Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Operations team for a 12 month period, which can be based out of any of our locations across Canada and own the following responsibilities:
- Support and represent the HR Operations Team with administrative and operational requirements across Canada; prepare presentations on HR Operations-related initiatives and updates to HR team in tandem with responding to ad hoc inquiries
- Act as the main resource for all Workday HRIS data, data changes and maintenance. Ensure data integrity of information entered in HRIS
- Offboarding tasks including processing terminations and collating employee data for Payroll
- Review employee lifecycle letters for accuracy and provide coaching to HR Coordinators (offers, contracts, extensions, termination, confirmation of employment, etc.) on best practices
- Support employees in preparing for Leave of Absence (Maternity Leaves, Short-term Disability, Long-term Disability etc.) and processing in Workday
- Administer and prepare promissory notes, coordinating with HR Advisors and Payroll
- Ad hoc HR Operational project work as required
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Your experience and education
- Bilingualism (French and English), Written and Spoken
• Due to frequent communications and interactions by email and phone with English-speaking clients in Quebec and outside of Quebec, proficiency in spoken and written English is required for this position. - A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced HR environment with a strong understanding of employment legislation, HRIS (Workday and a ticket management system), and core HR functions such as benefits and leave administration
- If you have completed your post-secondary Diploma or Degree/Certificate in Human Resources, it will be considered an asset
- You are pursuing or have completed CHRP designation
- You have strong PC skills including Excel
- Skilled in maintaining positive relationships, cross functional communication, and the ability to independently problem solve
- You are able to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
- Maintain exceptional levels of accuracy and are detail-oriented
