EERB is leading the Ministrys mandate to develop and implement a Provincial Homelessness Strategy in partnership. The Senior Policy Analyst provides strategic policy advice and recommendations with respect to homelessness by coordinating and leading the research, analysis, development and implementation of strategic policies and legislation. Job Requirements: Degree in public administration, business administration, law, economics, social sciences, natural resource management, or a related field; and 3 years of related experience. Related experience includes each of the following: Minimum one (1) year experience analyzing and/or developing legislation, regulation and policy. Minimum one (1) year experience planning and coordinating complex projects/assignments. Minimum one (1) year experience concisely and persuasively writing a range of documents/content. Preference may be given to individuals with one or more of the following: Experience working with Indigenous peoples and/or on Indigenous policy and/or program development and implementation. Self identifies as an Indigenous or racialized person; and/or a person with lived experience of homelessness. Experience working on homelessness-related issues or issues related to vulnerable people. This temporary opportunity may be extended and/or become permanent. An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies. Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement.
