Full time hours follow the school year calendar Monday to Thursday and Scheduled Fridays.
WEEKLY HOURS ARE APPROXIMATELY 32.5
The Education Assistant will establish effective working relationships with teachers, parents and the community. A strong background and expertise working with students with a wide range of physical, cognitive, social and emotional differences including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Trauma
Down Syndrome
medically fragile
mild/moderate intellectually delayed
ADHD
self-care personal assistance
Experience working with students with complex needs that includes collaboration with educational support teams and therapists, such as SLP, OT, and Behavioral Consultants is an asset. If you would describe yourself as possessing a love for all children, with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to multi-task in a busy school team environment then we welcome your application. Preferred applicants will have a Teacher Assistant Certificate.

Successful candidates cannot begin without a satisfactory Criminal Record Check completed within the last 6 months. Start dates will be dependent on providing FSD with the required documentation.
