Peace River School Division
requires a
Part-Time Educational Assistant
at Nampa Public School
Nampa Public School is located in the town of Nampa approximately 450 kms northwest of Edmonton. The school services students in grades K-6.
One Part-Time (0.90 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant is required commencing immediately and continuing until June 27, 2024. The successful candidate will be working one on one with a student, plus other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
Experience and/or training working with young children
Requirements:
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application.
Skills:
Ability to work with students with varying needs and abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Experience working in a classroom setting
Experience in speech language development is considered an asset
Ability to work as part of a team.

This is a union position under the CUPE Local 4839 Peace River School Support Staff.
Rate of Pay:
$ 20.16 to $ 25.29 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
