Full-Time Junior High Teacher
at Dixonville School
Dixonville is a hamlet in Alberta, within the County of Northern Lights. It is located along the Mackenzie Highway, approximately 43 kilometres north of Grimshaw.and 58 kms northwest of Peace River. The school serves students in grades K-9.
One Full -Time (1.00 FTE) Junior High Teacher is required commencing August 28, 2024 and continuing until June 30, 2025. The initial assignment will include Grade 7/8 classroom.
Qualifications:
Fluency with educational technology
Evidence of life-long learning or continuous professional development that is reflected in classroom practice
Evidence of effective use of technology for communication and teaching practice
Effective pedagogical strategies in both numeracy and literacy in primary grades
Inclusion mindset and practices
Requirements:
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application.

This teaching position falls under the Collective Agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary Range:
$ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
