Full-Time Junior High Teacher
at
Lloyd Garrison School
Berwyn, Alberta
Lloyd Garrison School is located in the hamlet of Berwyn, approximately 11kms from the town of Grimshaw and 39kms from Peace River.
One Full-Time (1.0 F.T.E.) Junior High Teacher is required commencing August 28. 2024 and continuing until June 30, 2025. The initial assignment will include junior high general teacher with some senior high duties.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a multi-grade classroom
Experience in Elementary Education
Knowledge of the Alberta Program of Studies
Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents
A demonstrated commitment to student achievement
Ability to differentiate instruction
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
Knowledge and skills in German and English programming is considered an asset.
Requirements:
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check. Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application.

This teaching position falls under the Collective Agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary Range:
$ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
