Business Analysis Manager, Enterprise Data and Analytics

The Manager, Data Management, plays a critical role within the Data & Analytics organization, driving governance, quality, and standards across enterprise data assets. This position ensures that data is trusted, discoverable, and reusable by partnering closely with the Data Products team and other stakeholders. While this role does not have direct reports, it requires strong leadership through influence-shaping best practices, aligning governance with business priorities, and enabling the delivery of high-quality data products that support analytics, reporting, and operational needs.

The Manager, Business Analysis leads or participates as a senior representative on cross-functional business project teams representing the Enterprise Data and Analytics function.

In conjunction with business leaders, develops, makes authoritative recommendations around, and ensures the implementation of, data projects and enchancement of Data Lake info and sources data elements, builds data model requirements and business rules to conform the data across multiple data sources and multiple unique business units.

• Lead and facilitate pre-discovery data workshops for all data-related projects to align objectives, scope, and data requirements.
• Review and validate business requirements, providing actionable feedback to ensure accurate data considerations.
• Document and confirm data dependencies, assumptions, and constraints for transparency and traceability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (business, technical, and governance teams) to identify data gaps, risks, and integration points.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards throughout the requirement-gathering and implementation phases.
• Provide recommendations for data architecture and design aligned with enterprise standards.
• Support Enterprise Data Lake initiatives, including: Building and curating data based on operational plans and Participating in enterprise data modeling activities.
• Lead resolution of data build issues, guiding multi-functional teams and implementing solutions for Enterprise Data Management.
• Review existing systems and processes, challenging current practices to drive enhancements and improvements.
• Perform data profiling and analysis across financial, product, customer, vendor master, and transactional data from SAP ECC, SQL Server, and Access databases.
• Deliver source-to-target mappings for dimension and fact tables to development teams.
• Conduct market and data analysis to identify revenue growth and cost-saving opportunities.

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, Business or Finance
  • Project Management training preferable

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Expertise in Data Architecture: Deep understanding of data models, data domains, and enterprise data architecture principles
  • Database Proficiency: Extensive experience working with large-scale relational databases and optimizing performance
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark for data processing and analyticsHands-on experience with Informatica and related data integration tools
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools (preferred)
  • A track record of working collaboratively with multiple departments to identify and solve issues and ability to influence at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with experience presenting to various levels and writing reports for senior executives
  • Strong operational and team leadership in complex environments

• Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a Business Analysis / Enterprise Data role
  • Experience managing major systems/process implementations
