As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within Aon’s Professional Services Group (PSG). In this role as a Senior Broker, you will report directly to the PSG Broking Leader and play a pivotal part in shaping client strategies and driving exceptional outcomes.

What the day will look like

 

You will develop, negotiate, and manage all aspects of coverage, including review and placement.

 

  • Analyse client-specific risk exposure and determine coverage requirements.
  • Prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
  • Negotiate with underwriters to secure optimal terms and conditions for premiums and coverage.
  • Follow up with insurers to confirm compliance with negotiated contract terms.
  • Approve documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions, and renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the underwriting community to achieve the best outcomes for Aon clients.
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings to deliver insights and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and new opportunities.
  • Partner with sales producers to support growth strategies and targeted prospecting activities.
  • Contribute to building national initiatives and thought leadership.
  • Foster productive working relationships internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

 

  • 5+ years of E&O (Errors & Omissions) broking or underwriting experience is mandatory.
  • Proven experience handling projects involving E&O coverage for architects, engineers, and design firms.
  • Broker licence is required or must be obtained within 3 months of joining.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence and build trust with clients and insurers.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and manage complex accounts.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities and ability to collaborate across teams.
