Aon is looking for a Consultant Wellbeing Services. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as a part of our Wellbeing Services team, part of Aon’s Health Solutions business group.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office.

 

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

What the day will look like  

  • Lead wellbeing consulting work as the subject matter expert including data analysis, wellbeing strategy design, vendor marketing and program implementation with the support of the Wellbeing Services specialists
  • Utilize broad wellbeing, benefit, and health care experience to anticipate market trends, internal needs, and client needs
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to identify critical product/tool/offer development needs in the area’s wellbeing and health improvement
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams with colleagues, clients, client teams, vendors and carriers
  • Communicate Aon's wellbeing and health improvement strategy, solutions, and point-of-view internally and externally (consultants, clients, vendors)
  • Apply your knowledge of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace and consult to clients on best practices for emotional wellbeing, mental health and psychological health and safety in the workplace
  • Engage in strategic discussions with clients
  • Deliver/write high impact reports and presentations concerning a variety of wellbeing outcomes
  • Support client teams with benchmarking and industry research
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the health and wellbeing offerings, products, trends and vendor landscape, while having a thorough understanding of how this relates to increasing value to clients

How this opportunity is different 

As a Consultant on our Wellbeing Services team, you will consult on a wide variety of complex wellbeing, health management and broader health and benefit projects. In this role, you will serve as the lead consultant and/or subject matter expert on client engagements and play a key role in identifying risks, strategies and opportunities to improve employee population health and wellbeing.

Skills and experience that will lead to success 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience and success in delivering health, wellbeing and/or benefits consulting to clients
  • Proven organization skills and the ability to effectively coordinate the delivery of projects and advisory services
  • The ability to see the “big picture,” leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients’ business challenges
  • Need someone who is a self-starter and who has curiosity.  Someone who has interest in continually learning and challenging themselves to think outside of the box and step outside of their comfort zone  
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, ability to work under deadlines, and work on several projects simultaneously is critical 
  • Must be a highly motivated, accountable, customer service and team-oriented individual
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Certification in Psychological Safety/Workplace and/or Mental Health Specialist would be an asset, but not required

Education: 

  • Post-secondary Diploma in Health and Wellness studies and/or related degree required
  • Commitment to professional development.
