What the day will look like
AI‑Enabled Ways of Working & Adoption
- Act as the primary regional business champion for PathWise AI and automation tools, driving awareness, understanding, and effective usage across actuarial implementation teams and client partners.
- Work with actuarial modelers and client teams to redesign workflows (e.g., model build, valuation, pricing, assumption management, documentation) to take full advantage of AI and automation capabilities.
- Develop and deliver regional demonstrations, walkthroughs, and training sessions that show how AI tools can improve quality, consistency, speed, and governance in actuarial modeling.
- Promote guidelines for appropriate and responsible use of AI tools in actuarial contexts, including when to use AI, how to validate outputs, and how to incorporate expert judgment.
Use Case Identification, Expansion & Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify new opportunities to apply AI and automation across the PathWise lifecycle (e.g., requirements gathering, model design, test case generation, debugging support, documentation, change impact analysis).
- Collaborate with implementation teams, clients, and AI developers to translate business problems and manual difficulties into clear, well‑defined AI use cases and feature requests.
- Prioritize and document regional enhancements and extensions to the AI toolset based on user feedback, business impact, feasibility, and alignment with the PathWise roadmap.
- Lead or support structured pilots and experiments for new AI features, gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback and consolidating insights into actionable recommendations for the development teams.
Client & Customer Engagement
- Serve as a regional subject‑matter expert on how AI and automation can support actuarial modeling, valuation, and pricing workflows in PathWise.
- Work directly with client actuarial teams to understand their business objectives, current processes, and constraints, and to design AI‑enabled solutions that are practical and adoptable.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with client and internal teams to co‑design target‑state workflows and rollout plans for AI tools.
- Help manage expectations and change impacts by clearly explaining capabilities, limitations, and required controls for the AI toolset.
Bridge Between Actuarial Users and AI Developers
- Act as a key interface between regional actuarial end‑users and the core AI development teams, ensuring business needs are clearly captured, prioritized, and communicated.
- Provide structured, domain‑informed feedback on prototypes, including usability, alignment with actuarial practice, and integration into existing PathWise workflows.
- Contribute to the definition of success criteria and evaluation metrics for AI features from a user and business value perspective (e.g., time savings, quality improvements, error reduction).
- Work with developers to translate user feedback into refined requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria for production‑grade implementations.
Governance, Controls & Quality
- Support adherence to Aon’s AI governance requirements by promoting appropriate controls, guardrails, and documentation on how AI tools are used in actuarial work.
- Help define and embed practical validation and review approaches for AI‑assisted outputs (e.g., peer review practices, reasonableness checks, reconciliation with existing models and processes).
- Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and guidance on standard AI‑enabled workflows to encourage consistent and repeatable use across regional teams and clients.
Knowledge Sharing, Leadership & Thought Leadership
- Stay ahead of trends in GenAI, automation, and actuarial technology, and translate these into relevant insights for the PathWise and client communities in your region.
- Develop and share case studies, examples, and reusable materials that illustrate successful AI‑enabled use cases within PathWise.
- Provide informal leadership and mentoring to colleagues (both actuarial and non‑actuarial) on how to effectively engage with AI tools, interpret their outputs, and identify new opportunities.
- Represent the region’s needs and perspectives in global PathWise AI forums, contributing to the evolution of the overall AI and automation strategy.
