Leadership Responsibilities
The Vice-Principal will promote optimal learning for all students through the following key areas:
Instructional Leadership
- Support effective teaching practices
- Guide curriculum implementation
- Encourage professional learning and growth
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment
- Promote student engagement and well-being
- Use data and assessment practices to support student achievement
- Collaborate with staff to inform instructional decisions
- Contribute to school-wide goal setting
- Support continuous school improvement initiatives

- Strong curricular knowledge
- Understanding of school improvement processes and professional learning communities
- Technological skills paired with a forward-looking vision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative and inclusive decision-making abilities

- Current résumé
- Valid New Brunswick Teacher's Certificate
- New Brunswick Principal's Certificate or proof of working toward certification
- Continuing Contract with the Province of New Brunswick
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
- Proven leadership ability
- Two professional references
