This role will require you to work effectively with internal and external partners, and display professionalism and strong ethics in both client centered care and participation in care teams. You will demonstrate evidence of reflective thinking and lifelong learning that enhances individual and team competency. You will have opportunities to use your interpersonal and clinical skills in contributing to quality improvement, program planning and student supervision.

The ability to navigate stairs is required for access to clinical sites and to support client exercises and functional training. Prolonged sitting with use of a laptop and related technology (e.g., headset) is expected for point‑of‑care documentation and delivery of virtual services.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with neurological patients and patients with complex rehabilitation needs is preferred. Training and experience providing speech therapy is preferred. Experience providing group treatment is considered an asset. Training and experience in implementing Health Change Methodology™ principles is an asset.
