We are seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist II for a permanent role at the Cold Lake Healthcare Centre and Bonnyville Healthcare Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential respiratory care across a broad patient population while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This is a pivotal role where you will be able to practice autonomously in supporting multiple areas of care. This position offers broad scope of practice, strong clinical autonomy, and direct involvement in critical decision-making. Respiratory Therapists develop meaningful relationships with patients and families, gain exposure to varied cases (from emergency airway management to chronic care), and strengthen critical thinking and adaptability. Smaller team sizes foster close collaboration and a supportive, cohesive care environment. Located in picturesque lake country, Cold Lake is a vibrant community on the traditional lands of Treaty 6 and the Métis. Home to Alberta’s seventh-largest lake, Canada’s busy 4 Wing Air Force Base, and thriving industries, it offers a high quality of life with modern amenities and small-town charm. The community features English and French schools, Portage College, and a range of arts, cultural, sports, and volunteer opportunities. From Cold Lake and Meadow Lake Provincial Parks to the Iron Horse Trail and Kinosoo Beach, the region offers endless opportunities for outdoor recreation and relaxation. Cold Lake offers not just a career, but the chance to be part of a dynamic, welcoming community where natural beauty and a strong community spirit make it truly feel like home. This position may qualify for a recruitment incentive of up to $60,000, based on the length of their Return for Service. For full details, visit rcif-hsaa.ca.
