Respiratory Therapist I

Join our team at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital (GPRH), a new state of the art facility that opened in December 2021 with the capacity to serve our ever-growing community. Grande Prairie serves a population of approximately 370,000 people including the city and surrounding areas offering all the urban amenities with that small town feel. We currently have a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000 and Relocation Assistance may be available, along with great benefits and a lower cost of living compared to other urban areas. As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients (clients, resident), develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress. You will be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions and collaborate with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes. You will also provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment, and treatments.

Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
