We are looking for a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Critical Care/CCU team at Sturgeon Community Hospital. In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. This is an exciting opportunity for an NP eager to advance their expertise in cardiology and critical care.

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients. Additionally, you will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive health services to patients across the lifespan. Your responsibilities include: Integrating advanced nursing and medical knowledge to assess, diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and perform procedures. Applying advanced practice competencies in Clinical Practice, Leadership, Health System Optimization, Education, and Research to enhance care quality, promote appropriate resource use, and influence healthcare systems.
