Description
The Program Evaluation Support Coordinator (PESC) position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Edmonton Operational Stress Injury Clinic (EOSIC) located at Northgate Centre. EOSIC provides specialized mental health & addiction services to Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, active and retired RCMP and family members. This position reports directly to the Care Manager. The PESC is a junior level position with a moderate amount of work experience providing support to clinical program initiatives and projects to ensure completion within timelines. The PESC performs or supports a range of activities that contribute to the successful business operations and evaluation of clinic services. Responsibilities may include managing third party billing (Blue Cross Medavie), service utilization, data compilation, providing support in committee meetings and change initiatives. This position also provides front desk support as required. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As a Coordinator I, you will require specialized skills and knowledge to support complex projects, procedures, practices or initiatives within a department, program or business unit.
Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.
Post secondary diploma or degree with experience in report generation and data base management preferred. Equivalent education or experience may be considered. Two years' experience working within a mental health and/or substance use treatment setting. Experience working with large data sets. Intermediate experience with creating and managing data using spreadsheets, e.g., Microsoft Excel. Experience working with data bases (e.g., Microsoft Access). Experience using software applications for data analysis, diagramming, graphics and visual analytics platforms, including Microsoft Visio and Tableau.
Work experience in a clinical setting providing treatment for mental health and/or substance related and addictive disorders. Work experience in a clinical setting providing treatment to Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, active and retired RCMP and family members. Work experience generating reports using an electronic medical record (EMR) e.g., Connect Care.
