Description
Under the direction of the Program Manager, Business Intelligence, the Coordinator I provides advanced technical and professional support, requiring extensive knowledge of complex organizational policies and procedures. The Coordinator I utilizes exceptional skills in formatting and technical writing, records management, data management, project management and software applications, to provide advanced support for Continuing Care Edmonton Zone programs and services. The Coordinator will ensure completion of projects and program initiatives within timelines by tracking, monitoring, verifying and documenting project and initiative plans. The Coordinator supports the Business Intelligence teams by providing project support and managing data, information as well as applications like SharePoint and RedCap. This position will also support other projects and work within other Shared Services portfolios as required.
As a Coordinator I, you will require specialized skills and knowledge to support complex projects, procedures, practices or initiatives within a department, program or business unit.
Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.
Post-secondary education is required (e.g. Business Administration, Baccalaureate). Minimum five years in a progressively responsible position within a healthcare setting. Minimum of two years in a senior-level administrative role, providing leadership and mentorship. Minimum of two years in a primary or secondary research environment. RedCap or other data collect software experience. Equivalencies in education and experience will be considered. Advanced computer software skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Visio). Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective time management, effective people skills, and ability to negotiate and build consensus. Proven ability to foster partnerships. Judgement, critical thinking, and prioritizing. Organizing, scheduling, and multi-tasking. Technical writing and formatting, as per AHS standards. Demonstrated ability to manage change. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to adhere to policies, guidelines, and legislated requirements regarding handling of client/health and program related information. Assists in the preparation of project proposals, plans, and related documents. Engages stakeholders to gather and exchange information to address issues.
Advanced computer software skills, including graphic design, information design, SharePoint design/management, RedCap design/management. Conceptual & analytical skills to critically assess information, synthesize large volumes of information and draw meaningful conclusions. Strong commitment to community partnerships, teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience supporting analytic, finance or informatics teams.
