The minimum educational requirement for the data analyst position is a Baccalaureate degree in a data or health-related field with additional training such as epidemiology or biostatistics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other statistical software (e.g. R) products is required. Candidates must have expertise in database management as well as data analysis. Work experience and advanced training in a health-related field is an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important especially the ability to communicate well with colleagues across the IPC program. Must be able to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
