Description
Reporting directly to the Manager, Royal Alexandra Hospital Medicine Program, and the incumbent will provide an advanced level of administrative support for Recruitment Services for the Royal Alexandra Hospital Medicine Program. This will require the incumbent to have an extensive knowledge of the Medicine Program recruitment procedures and the collective agreements. The incumbent will ensure that Alberta Health Services employees are recruited equitably and appropriately in accordance with established policies and procedures and collective agreement provisions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following functions: providing complete support to the Recruitment process for Unit Managers via RMS. This position involves exceptional skills in organization, attention to detail, decision-making, and handling of confidential information. The incumbent will be required to work independently. Responsibilities vary over a diverse range of portfolios and the incumbent must be able to multi-task with efficiency and competence. Great communication skills and the ability to work with other members of the Medicine team are required. The incumbent ensures that timelines are met with regards to own work/projects as well as follow-up on delegated projects to other members of the site team.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields with at least 1 year experience. Thorough knowledge of computers and various software, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Must be trained in Workforce Management (WFM) with at least 1 year experience. Must be trained in ePeople Recruitment Management System (RMS). With at least 1 year experience. Must have Outlook and Excel experience - quiz will be provided. Computer literacy essential.
A combination of experiences and education would be considered. Experience in a healthcare or customer-focused setting. Excellent formatting, grammar, syntax and proofreading skills. Experience with Microsoft Office. Previous experience with Recruitment preferred.
