The Admin IV position is an integral part of the Children’s Allied Health multidisciplinary team consisting of Audiology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech language Pathology and Therapy assistants. As an Admin IV you will be working as part of the Audiology and Children’s Allied Health intake team. Responsibilities of the Admin IV require independent judgment, critical thinking and proven problem-solving skills. The Admin IV performs complex referral management, clerical, purchasing and overall program support. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential in this role. This position requires proficient use of Connect Care, and various other AHS IT Systems. The Admin IV is highly skilled in all aspects of department patient flow, time management and organizational skills while being able to demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. The incumbent must have the ability to respect the confidential nature of healthcare information as per AHS policies.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Some post-secondary education.

Connect Care registration and appointment booking experience.

Previous community pediatric admin support experience is an asset.
