Administrative Support III

Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) needs a caring individual who is passionate about helping others. The Town of Edson is located approximately 190 kms west of Edmonton - close enough to visit friends and families on the weekends and holidays! With only 163 kms (about two hours’ drive) from Jasper National Park, Edson is a perfect home base for your outdoor adventures. Hike, bike, or fish the best spots at nearby lakeshores after work or take in a day trip on your days off. Edson is a young, diverse, and multicultural town offering a smalltown feel, but still close to the big city amenities. In addition to Public and Catholic K-12 schools, the town offers arts, cultural, and social activities for everyone.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Office Training: Formal office administration training and recent related experience preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to navigate multiple computer programs and perform accurate data entry. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and proofreading. Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage interruptions in a busy environment. Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide client-focused service. Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and adaptability to changing priorities. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift office/medical supplies up to 30 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
