The Product Owner, Cargo Analytics & Agentic AI is responsible for the delivery, evolution, and adoption of Cargo’s analytics and AI product portfolio. Embedded within the Cargo Analytics organization, this role acts as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate commercial and operational needs into scalable analytics, BI, and Agentic AI solutions.
The role spans classical BI and analytics development (dashboards, reporting, self service insights) as well as the new development of Agentic AI capabilities supporting Cargo Commercial and Operations. The Product Owner ensures solutions are delivered end to end-from intake and prioritization through production rollout and adoption-while driving measurable business value aligned with Cargo’s 2026 analytics and AI priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary link between Cargo business stakeholders and Analytics, CRM, Data, AI, and IT delivery teams.
- Own and manage the product backlog for Cargo Analytics and Agentic AI initiatives, ensuring priorities align with business value and delivery capacity.
- Translate commercial and operational needs into clear, delivery ready requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead the development and enhancement of classical BI and analytics solutions, including dashboards, reports, and self
service analytical products. - Support the identification, definition, and prioritization of Agentic AI use cases for Cargo Commercial and Operations.
- Drive the path from analytics or Agentic concept / prototype to sustained production usage, coordinating requirements, UAT, rollout, and enablement.
- Work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, CRM UX, and IT teams to support solution design, development, and iteration.
- Support the definition of Agentic AI behaviors, including inputs, outputs, decision logic, guardrails, and escalation paths.
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), validating outputs, data accuracy, and workflow fit with business stakeholders.
- Support deployment and rollout of Analytics and Agentic solutions across Cargo teams and regions.
- Contribute to change management and adoption activities, including training materials, demos, user guides, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Act as a point of contact for user feedback, issues, and enhancement requests related to analytics and AI solutions.
- Support the definition and tracking of adoption, usage, and value realization metrics for analytics and Agentic AI products.
- Ensure solutions align with real commercial and operational workflows and decision making processes.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities based on usage patterns, performance insights, and evolving business needs.
- Contribute to governance, reporting, and communication related to Cargo Analytics and AI initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 5-7 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Analytics, or digital delivery role, preferably within an Agile environment
- Proven experience delivering BI, analytics, or data driven products from requirements through production rollout
- Experience in common BI and Data Science tools an asset (PowerBI, Tableau and Dataiku)
- Solid understanding of analytics concepts and emerging AI / Agentic AI capabilities and their business applications
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience supporting UAT, deployments, and post release adoption and improvement
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills in complex, evolving environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment
