Key duties
- Verify, process, and reconcile invoices (internal/external), claims, accruals, and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Company policies, Collective Agreements, and government regulations.
- Audit, input, calculate, and update financial and operational data; prepare reports, accruals, and distribute invoice statements in a timely manner.
- Operate department specific software programs and office systems efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy while working under pressure.
- Organize and prioritize workload independently, demonstrating the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Research, resolve, and respond to internal and external customer inquiries with professionalism and effective solutions.
- Prepare and process payments, claims, and related transactions; maintain records to support continuous improvement in service delivery.
Qualifications
- High School graduation;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally with an accounting background;
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and international tax regulations;
- Familiarity with handling taxes across multiple countries;
- Familiarity with Collective Agreements, Company Policies and/or Government Regulations ;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently;
- Aptitude for accuracy and detail;
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
