You Are:

At the top of your consulting game. You’ve got years of experience working in the natural resources industry, digging into your clients’ core issues to find novel solutions to their toughest challenges. Your experience means that people turn to you, whether for advice about how to close a deal, or how to build a solution that uses our tech. That means you’re equally at home crafting thought leadership that really tackles real-world problems as you are at explaining the answers for those problems to C-Suite executives or a brand new team member. You also know that making sure your teams can do their best means making sure the pipeline of opportunities is always full-which is no problem, thanks to personal relations with execs in your field and a reputation that precedes you.

The Work:

    • Use business know-how to link new ideas and insights about your industry to create client opportunities, services, practice offerings and thought leadership
    • Drive sales and shape deals that work your teams efficiently. Then help others on your team learn from your experience and skills at developing and closing opportunities
    • Challenge client thinking with objective analysis and spot customer counterparts to help deliver complex, transformational, data-driven solutions for root causes and challenges
    • Use your people, industry and skills to earn senior clients’ trust, and show your team how to do it too
    • Know when to raise any financial issues, and how to fix them
    • Manage clients’ expectations by confirming outcomes, easing concerns ahead of time and making sure they know the causes of any problems
    • Help your team manage complex situations that balance risk and reward, then help them learn how individuals and teams contributed to success
    • Keep sharpening your industry know-how and building your own brand and leadership style
