(Internal Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist)
THE WORK:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for complex, niche, technical, and leadership positions across engineering, project management, project controls, construction, and corporate functions.
- Partner with business leaders to develop workforce strategies that support business growth, project mobilization, and long-term talent needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing labour market intelligence, competitive hiring insights, recruitment strategies, and guidance on talent availability.
- Develop proactive talent pipelines through market mapping, strategic sourcing, networking, and employer branding initiatives to support current and future hiring requirements.
- Support recruitment for large-scale infrastructure and capital projects, including workforce planning and talent acquisition for major project mobilizations.
- Conduct intake meetings to define hiring strategies, establish recruitment plans, and align on candidate profiles, timelines, and business priorities.
- Source, assess, and present highly qualified candidates using behavioural interviewing techniques, competency-based assessments, and market evaluation.
- Manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously while delivering exceptional service to hiring managers and candidates in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead offer negotiations, compensation discussions, relocation support where applicable, and onboarding coordination to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, market trends, and sourcing effectiveness to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and informed business decision-making.
- Recommend and implement innovative sourcing strategies, recruitment technologies, and talent attraction initiatives that improve hiring outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment legislation, privacy requirements, and immigration regulations where applicable.
- Mentor junior Talent Acquisition team members by sharing best practices, coaching on recruitment strategies, and contributing to the development of a high-performing team.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at industry events, career fairs, networking functions, and professional associations to strengthen employer brand awareness and expand talent networks.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office-based
- Hybrid position requiring regular weekly attendance at our Toronto project offices (111 /Richmond Street West and 130 Adelaide Street West). Monthly attendance at our Richmond Hill office (1565 16th Avenue) and other project locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area may be required based on business needs. Periodic travel within Ontario and across Canada may also be required.
- 5+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, with a minimum of 3 years supporting engineering, infrastructure, construction, or capital projects organizations.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for Rail & Transit, Property Services, and Data Centre projects.
- Experience supporting recruitment for large-scale infrastructure or mega projects valued at $500M+ or involving multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Proven ability to recruit across technical, project delivery, engineering, project controls, commercial, and corporate functions.
- Experience supporting hiring across multiple provinces within Canada.
Stakeholder Management
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, project directors, hiring managers, and HR partners.
- Experience providing labour market intelligence, recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and hiring recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to influence hiring decisions using market data and recruitment analytics.
- Experience managing competing priorities across multiple business units and high-volume project demands.
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, with 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting Design-Build, P3, EPC, EPCM, or Owner's Engineer environments.
- Experience hiring for major transportation, utility, or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with project-based organizations where hiring demand fluctuates based on project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Canadian labour market conditions within engineering and construction.
- Experience using enterprise ATS platforms (e.g., Deltek, Workday, Lever)
- Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing skills.
- Experience using recruitment analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or similar).

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
