Role description
The Digital Media Activation Lead will join a collaborative, instructive, and supportive environment, working side-by-side with seasoned marketers and supporting North America Marketing & Paid Media initiatives. This role steers cross-channel execution with a balance of strategic oversight and day-to-day operational leadership. Activation Leads help translate high-level media strategies into actionable channel plans, manage pacing and performance, and ensure flawless activation across platforms and partners. Their role sits at the intersection of planning, operations, analytics, and vendor management, driving both tactical excellence and continual optimization.
Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate on paid media campaigns with media activation teams and lead client conversations to support day-to-day management of campaigns, project scope, timelines, feedback/approvals, etc.

Own cross-channel experimentation and guide tactical strategy and testing frameworks across channels, including programmatic (including CTV, audio, native, display, video), search, and paid social

Explore tactical innovation through new partners, targeting strategies, data integrations, or bidding approaches

Mentor, guide, and manage channel leads and their activation teams to build strong campaign roadmaps and optimization best practices

Coordinate deployment of cross-channel digital media tactical strategies, including ownership of final handoff of trafficking requests to activation team.

With support from junior team members, monitor cross-channel performance against media KPIs to achieve campaign objectives, recommend budget re-allocation across channels, and guide the team to tactical optimization opportunities for better media performance

Manage weekly internal team and client communication about pacing and performance, communicating performance updates to clients with clarity and consistency

Contribute to annual plans/JBPs with key media partners like Google, Meta, Microsoft, TTD

Recommend testing scenarios to improve budget spend based on MMM observations

Identify platform enhancements or in-platform measurement opportunities in support of business objectives and how to manage performance against media KPIs and lagging measurement KPIs
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
-
Minimum 5 years paid media experience or in a media agency role

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Experience with cross-channel media activation across an entire media program

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

A strong facilitator and proactive planner who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and complete the task at hand, ask probing questions for project clarity and escalate potential roadblocks and issues appropriately

Experience leading conversations with key client stakeholders and managing/mentoring teams

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
