Description
Accenture Marketing + Communications professionals build a powerful and differentiated global brand-at the corporate, industry, capability and geographic level-that supports the Accenture business strategy, enhances long-term client relationships, inspires employees and candidates and drives profitable growth.
Together with industry teams, business leaders and marketing colleagues, the Americas Marketing & Communications Hive partners with marketing sub-function program owners to provide innovative strategy, program management, content development and project execution.
The Hive can be viewed as the marketing arm that swarms priority initiatives and serves as convener, trusted advisor, program implementer and end-to-end results conveyer.
These efforts increase client mindshare, strengthen client relationships and drive growth within specific Americas priorities.
Role description
The Marketing Activation Manager will join a collaborative, instructive and supportive environment, working side-by-side with seasoned marketers and supporting Americas Marketing & Communications Hive initiatives. This individual will lead one of the Marketing Activation Management Squads in creating and implementing effective marketing programs, gaining exposure to-and experience with-a variety of industries, stakeholders and marketing disciplines.
Primary responsibilities include:
Serve as first point of contact for incoming Market Hive programs and scope out how the team can support
Lead and mentor a small team of 3-4 of Marketing Activation Managers/Coordinators
Lead end-to-end project management of key initiatives and campaigns both independently and/or in partnership with both marketing and business stakeholders
Develop and execute campaign and event strategy serving as a strategic advisor to cross functional marketing teams and ensuring activities meet project needs and are aligned with strategic business objectives
Interlock with cross functional marketing teams to bring an initiative to fruition including: Communications, Creative, Social, Content, Event Management, Meetings & Events, Client Relationship Marketing, Industry Marketing, Local Eminence Marketing, Market Eminence Marketing and more
Champion and adopt MarTech stack and Gen AI tools including but not limited to Adobe Workfront, Writer, CoPilot, Salesforce, PowerBI and Monday.com
Pioneer reinvention and consistently think critically about how continuously improve, put forward new ideas, and lead innovation
Leverage data in every decision and partner with colleagues to be data-led
Foster a collaborative supportive environment and lead by example
Understand and enforce necessary processes with key collaborators
Drive consistency, scalability, and impact
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience (skillset can include but is not limited to account-based marketing, event marketing, and social or digital experience)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Communications, Marketing or Business

B2B marketing experience

Experience leading a Marketing Operations Team

Experience using Eloqua or similar email marketing platform

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other web reporting tools

Experience leveraging GenAI tools

Experience with Salesforce or similar client relationship management platform

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
