Plastimum was founded in 2011 as a technology centre to recycle plastics that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. We manage to recycle more than 90% of the plastics that we process. Our plastics are of an exceptional quality due to its granulometry of 1/8” to 3/8”.
Plastimum is one of the most efficient plants in the recycling industry, with the technology to sort both black plastics and non-floating plastics. We use a process that Sherbrooke O.E.M. developed which enables us to reach up to 95% purity level in our recycled materials, an achievement not yet attained by other recycling plants.
