What project will this contractor be working on? Will be working on multiple projects, ebanking/online banking and other devops initiatives

Job Description: As a DevOps Engineer, you will join the Technology department to provide and implement DevOps solutions automating source control, build, packaging, deployment, and code quality control.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Participate in agile software development projects by priming and executing SCM activities such as build, packaging, and deployment.

• Set up and maintain automation by adopting trending DevOps technologies and processes.

• Ensure SCM infrastructure and services, including Github, Jenkins, are current, reliable and operational.

• Support application deployment and troubleshooting of environments.

• Develop, document, and promote branch/merge strategies, build and packaging methodologies, and ensure they comply with both CIBC and industry standards and best practices.

• Communicate, present, and ensure compliance of SCM strategies to development teams

Must Have Requirement:

1. Experience with Java middleware application build and deployment automation - 4 years

2. Working experience GitHub/Maven/Gradle/Jenkins - 4 years

3. Experience with Docker - 2 years

4. Experience with OpenShift/Kubernates - 2 years

5. Experience in Unix shell scripting - 2 years

6. Experience with Yaml and Groovy - 2 years

1. Mobile native build (iOS and Android)
