What is the opportunity?

AsTrade Operationsand Settlements Administratoryou will provide operational & administrative support to the Trading Room staff and portfolio managers. Youwill also propose and implement automation and streamline processes where applicable.

What will you do?

  • Act as liaison between trading and operations staff

  • Assist with the input of trade information and the reconciliation of previous day trading activities

  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all trades

  • Identify trade settlement issues while offering solutions to minimize risk and costs

  • Maintain accurate files for compliance, audit, and regulatory purposes

  • Research security prices

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate intricate trade discrepancies and recommend a course of action.

  • Familiarity with trading terminology and back office processes

  • Knowledge of Excel with the ability to use/maintain macros

  • Working knowledge of the following systems within 3 months of start: Bloomberg, trust, smac, mvp, fx connect, PCView, Reflections, Charles River, Citibank Custodial system

  • Must be a self-starter that can thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Team player with a position attitude

  • Flexibility in work hours as overtime maybe required

Nice to Have:

  • CSC/CFA

  • University degree &/or certification in Business Administration.

The expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $60,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidates experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
