Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You will support Relationship Managers (RM)in credit renewal and adjudication of files risks.You will adjudicate transaction requests and approve policy exceptions within Delegated Lending Authorities using sound judgment and a balanced approach to portfolio quality. You will deliver on superior client service by structuring transactions with a client centric approach and creating strong partnerships with RMs, Group Risk Management and Business Service Centre in order to optimize the internal process, reduce response times and increase effectiveness.What will you do?Assist RMs with completing credit renewals, balance client needs and high risk situations effectively, while ensuring account managers are informed of any changes in the review scheduleExercise due diligence in preparing credit renewals and adjudication re: know your client, know the transaction, credit structure, risk analysis and client strategyApply sound knowledge of the Agriculture industry segment to support the credit needs of RMs and their clientsIdentify risk issues and take proactive action, keep up-to-date on economic trends and stay abreast of Credit Administration & Compliance Trends, recommending action to correct unsatisfactory situationsDevelop strong working relationships with the Commercial Account Managers to optimize overall processing timeAssist Commercial Account Manager in maximizing opportunity spotting with all clients to enhance retention, referrals, and sales activities and contribute to superior client careDemonstrate commitment to team work and collaboration through coachingWhat do you need to succeed?Must-havePrevious Commercial Banking, Small Business lending or credit experienceStrong business acumen and general Agriculture industry knowledgeSolid company financial statement analysis skillsProfessional oral and written communication skillsDegree in a Finance, Commerce, Managementor an accounting related fieldNice-to-haveKnowledge of commercial financial services credit tools, includingNewton &SynergyExperience as a Relationship Manager and/or Financing SpecialistBilingual in French and EnglishWhats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
