Job SummaryWhat is the opportunity?As a Financial Analyst with Wealth Management Performance Management you will help the team provide its business partners with value-adding reporting and financial advisory support.Wealth Management Finance provides management reporting and business advisory support to all Wealth Management segments. Segments include Canadian Wealth Management, U.S. Wealth Management (including City National), Global Asset Management, International Wealth Management and Investor Services.Job DescriptionWhat will you do?Financial Planning & Analysis:Analyze actual performance and elicit insights to be communicated to management. Contribute to plans and forecasts of business performance as well as stress tests by developing and using financial models, summarize and communicate key facts for management.Competitive Analysis & Benchmarking: Extract key data points from peer disclosures and analyst research and work with the team to produce succinct reports for senior managements use.Change Things for the Better:Support continuous improvement in driving efficiencies and automating processes.What do you need to succeed?Must-havePursuit of a degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a quantitative discipline with an interest in finance/accountingSolid analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detailStrong communication skillsSelf-motivated and independent worker with a solutions-driven mind-setAdvanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and experience building and changing reports including data visualizationsNice-to-haveWorking knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI)Knowledge of or experience in the wealth management/asset management industryWhats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
