Job Description :
We are looking for an Aerospace Quality Assurance Technician for a manufacturing company located in Mirabel. Position 40 hours per week, 12-month temporary contract.
Reporting to the Quality Department, you will be responsible for the following tasks :
- Check internal documentation (in conjunction with engineering, methods, logistics, quality, HR finance, etc.).
- Monitor current certification applications and ensure that they are properly applied.
- Create new internal procedures and certifications
- Investigate, find and document root causes of problems encountered
- Validate calibrations and measuring instruments according to customer requirements
- Participate in establishing process improvements
- Provide quality expertise for new process start-ups
- Other related tasks
Your professional skills :
- You are recognized for your ability to investigate and get to the root cause of problems.
- You have good interpersonal communication skills
- Good writing skills
- Good organizational skills, sense of rigor
Your profile :
- 2 to 7 years' experience in an aeronautical quality position
- French - English speaking profile
- DES in aeronautics, quality, manufacturing or mechanics
- Basic knowledge of, or experience with, the AS9100 standard
- Salary: $60k - $70k depending on experience
- Permanent position 40h/week
