Learn more about Service Canada

At Service Canada, we are over 5,000 employees in all regions of Quebec. We remain committed on a daily basis to delivering quality service to citizens that meets the needs of our diverse clientele: seniors, Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, job seekers, veterans, homeless people, newcomers, youth, families, children and employers.

Service Canada is the gateway to numerous federal government programs and services that are managed by Employment and Social Development Canada.

Are you familiar with the Employment Insurance, Old Age Security and Guaranteed Income Supplement programs? Did you know that Service Canada is responsible for issuing social insurance numbers (SINs) and passports, in addition to ensuring program integrity?

By working for the Department, you will be responsible for providing these services to citizens and the community via the Internet, by telephone or in person. You could therefore work in one of Service Canada’s 74 centres across the province, at an outreach site, Passport office, benefits processing and delivery centre or call centre.

At Service Canada, we serve people, and human relations are central to our organization. By joining our large team, you will grow in a continuous learning environment that will enable you to advance your career within a diverse and inclusive workplace. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various partners and get involved in a variety of inspiring projects.

Service Canada encourages women, Aboriginal people, people with disabilities, veterans, visible minorities and people from the LGBTQ+ community to participate in the different processes. The Department fosters an inclusive and respectful workplace.

Students are also invited to apply to the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP): https://emploisfp-psjobs.cfp-psc.gc.ca/srs-sre/page01.htm?poster=1&lang=en
