1)      “Just do It”: This program aims to solicit good savings ideas from employees, ideas whose goal is to improve processes and lead to cost reductions while maintaining or improving quality. The person who submits their “JDI” idea will have the right to compensation once the project is implemented, the plan having been approved by the Director of the establishment, and the savings are verified by the Finance department. The idea of this program is to allow our employees to institute beneficial financial changes and to know that they can make a difference in this way.

2)      A star for you!

Charles River always strives for excellence and wishes to give thanks for all staff contributions for a job well done.

3)      Recognition for years of service When an employee accumulates five years of service with the company, Charles River offers a gift to employees in order to recognize their years of service.

4)      “PAWS” Prize: The PAWS Program aims to recognize staff excellence for the animals’ Welfare and Safety. The PAWS program recognizes employee excellence in Animal Welfare and Safety.

5)      Moment of excellence: the animal welfare specialists will recognize the work of an employee at the time when the employee prioritizes the welfare and safety of the animals.

6)      “Value Award”: The recognition program is divided into six categories. To be nominated, a person must be entered in one of these six categories. The winner earns a recognition prize.
