The Director, Education and Communication, Information Risk Management (IRM), will lead large components of the IRM Education program, from conception through design to implementation and maintenance. This person will also contribute as part of the strategic planning for IRM and provide leadership for wide-scale IRM and Enterprise Risk initiatives related to strategy, education, and communication.
The Information Risk Management (IRM) Strategy and Planning team provides leadership for the IRM enterprise-wide processes such as IRM Strategic Planning, education on IRM topics, development and maintenance of IRM documentation, and internal IRM processes such as Board reporting and IRM meeting management.
Lead cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders and SMEs to develop, implement, and continually improve the IRM Education program
Ensure Information Risk education and communication is provided for all employees and meets regulatory and audit requirements
Lead SMEs to develop and maintain content, including facilitating and influencing discussion among stakeholders while moving to decision
Influence the use of tools for education and documentation, enterprise-wide
Lead projects related to strategy, education, and communication for Global Risk
Lead IRM internal communications programs, such as CIRO updates, Town Hall meetings, internal social media and websites, etc.
Manage vendors which support the program
University Degree in a technology, education, or communications field or equivalent experience
4-6 years communications, education, marketing or strategic planning experience
1-3 years of experience in Information Risk or a related discipline
Knowledge of Information Risk principles and their application to technology and business situations
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to distill highly technical information for non-technologists
Web content development and design
Effective influencing, facilitation, and presentation skills
Very strong written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
