Description
Our valued insurance client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in Angular and Java to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating seamless and engaging user experiences and a keen eye for detail. The candidate will work closely with the design and back-end teams to develop, implement, and optimize their front-end applications.
Start Date: 2025-12-08
End Date: 2026-06-05
Potential for extension: Yes
Hybrid work model. Candidate must be willing to work from the Montreal office 2x per week.
Years of experience: 10+
Project Scope - The main purpose of the project will be to migrate from the clients legacy Thymeleaf platform to Angular and and delivering values to their clients. In addition, the candidate will work on maintaining the clients backend java services making sure they are security compliant and addressing any technical backlog.
Must Haves:
- Bilingual - fluent communication in French and English
- Experience in Front-end development with Angular 19.
- Experience in Back-end development such as Java 17, Spring.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
Technologies required:
- Proficiency in Angular version 19.
- Java and Spring.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Github.
- Familiarity with OpenShift/Docker, Jenkins, Jira and Confluence.
- Code quality using SonarQube.
- Knowledge in SOAP, JSon, OpenAPI, XML.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborating in an Agile environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge/experience: Git Co-Pilot, Dynatrace, AI.
