Our Calgary client is looking for an Intermediate Automation Developer (Jest, Playwright) to build and maintain automated testing code for a custom developed application.

*4 days a week onsite in downtown Calgary office required*

Must Haves:

• 5+ years' as a Test Automation Developer, with hands-on experience building automation testing infrastructure and test harnesses
• Knowledge and experience creating test automation scripts using Playwright or Jest
• Python scripting experience
• Strong understanding and experience with an agile software development life cycle.
• Experience working with modern web applications, and are familiar with technologies such as JavaScript, ReactJS!, Node.js, Jenkins, Docker, Azure, Jira, GitHub and architecture styles such as Microservices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform both automated and manual tests and verify bugs as part of an Agile Scrum team.
• Develop automated tests (UI, API, e2e, Performance) and integrate into a CI/CD environment
• Write high-quality automation testing code that is clean, readable and maintainable.
• Participate in the introduction of emerging technologies and development tools under the guidance of enterprise architects and technical leads.
