Description
Location: Hamilton, ON
Work Model: 2 Days Onsite Mandatory (Tues/Weds)
Duration: 6 months contract
Hours: 35/Week
Role: Cybersecurity Project Manager (Cyber PM)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Coordinate across infosec teams, vendors, and key business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage risks, and track deliverables.
- Support cyber breach remediation and post-incident recovery efforts.
- Oversee initiatives related to network security enhancements, including firewall and intrusion detection upgrades.
Must-Haves:
- Proven project management experience with a focus on cybersecurity or infrastructure initiatives.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
- Experience managing cyber incident or security remediation projects.
Plusses:
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with MD365, Microsoft Defender, and Arctic Wolf.
- Prior involvement in breach response or threat detection projects.
- PMP or other project management certification.
