Job Details:

  • Location : Lachine (360 Norman street, Montreal)
  • Contract : Permanent, full-time
  • Hours: 30 hours guaranteed with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week
  • Shift: Variable schedule, including AM or PM sort, and week-end shifts on the road
  • The hourly rate starts a $18.23 for driver and $17.34 for sorter.
  • Benefits after 6 months of service

 

Description:

  • Pick-up and delivery of customer's shipments in an effective and efficient manner
  • Unloading and sorting freight
  • Able to cover open runs as assigned by Manager
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Responsible for managing daily delivery and pick-up schedules efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to solve problems as they arise while on road
  • Build positive relationships with both our internal customers (dispatch, colleagues , managers) and external customers
  • Comply with all Corporate Policies and Procedures
  • Work in a safe manner at all times
  • Maintain punctual attendance
  • Other Duties as assigned
