Warehouse Person- Night Shift

The Night Shift schedule is as below:

  • Sunday 7:30pm to 04:00am
  • Monday to Thursday 8:30pm to 05:00am

City:               Calgary, Alberta

Location:      Distribution Centre

Salary:          17.76$/hr + night shift premium

End date: March 30th, 2022

Job Summary

As directed by the evening shift Manager, this position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customers and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Section A - Specific Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for accurate unit pick and case pick by Manual RF picking
  • Responsible for Goods In procedure to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Perform order audits for quality assurance
  • Ensure product orders are reviewed and error corrections are completed
  • Perform all tasks within the scope of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures related to the job
  • Other duties as directed by the Supervisor(s)

Section B - Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the company policies and procedures are respected
  • Communicate with supervisors and Regulatory Officer any deviations that occur concerning established procedures and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure that work areas are kept safe, organized and clean
  • Operate power lifting equipment in a safe and responsible manner when required

Qualifications

Section C - Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement
  • Clear CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre) check
  • Ability to lift/move up to 22 pounds independently and greater weights in a team-lift environment
  • Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
  • 2 years of experience working in a fast pace environment is required.
  • Experience in a distribution centre /warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Basic math and English reading skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
  • Strong focus on Customer Service and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Must be familiar with, and able to work with, computers and automation
  • Reliable and punctual and willing to work various shifts
