The Waseskun Healing Community, which has been operating since 1988, is vibrant and focused on providing a healing environment for the men in its care. As one of six (6) Indigenous Healing Pavilions and the only one in eastern Manitoba, we use a unique approach to dealing with traumatic life experiences of the past, including those related to residential schools. Working as part of a team made up of seniors and spiritual helpers, program and administrative staff, we work in collaboration with the Correctional Services of Canada and Quebec. Recently, we also began working with court-ordered therapy through the NITSIQ program for Inuit men.
Working under the supervision of the Director and/or Director of Operations, the areas of responsibility of the Case Manager

- Ensure that our partners are aware of progress or lack of progress for each individual;
- Prepare occasional reports for accompanied outings, etc;
- Work with the Waseskun team and communities to develop successful positive reintegration into the community and family;
- Work with the team to develop family therapy sessions;
