Today, social media and the online world is often the first interaction a consumer has with a company. In the building supplies industry, the internet is now the source for inspiration for projects, helping to facilitate research for complicated projects, and acting as an extension of the brick and mortar environment as people buy online. We are looking for an experienced Digital and eCommerce Marketing Manager to drive an omnichannel customer experience across our online store and through digital channels.

Your team’s capabilities include in-house content creation, including video, audio, animation, and HTML, as well as platform listening and analytics. You will also oversee eCommerce fulfillment and operations, working alongside the Store Operations teams.

Your Objectives:

  • Oversee and play a key leadership role in transitioning our company from a traditional wholesaler to a cutting edge national eCommerce supplier.

  • Define strategy and roadmap for the eCommerce and Digital Marketing business unit, including the creation of annual business plans and KPIs.

  • Provide recommendations on new ways and different channels that the company can increase its brand awareness, generate leads and increase conversion.

  • Manage and expand online eCommerce channels, including launching into third party marketplaces.

  • Partner closely with marketing and agency on acquisition tactics, paid media, social media marketing, etc. to insure ROAS and revenue goals are met.

  • Manage all site content, site merchandising, customer shopping experience and conversion rate optimization tactics.

  • Stay current on eCommerce/Digital Marketing industry trends and implement improvements for continued growth.

  • Deliver against key marketing and sales KPIs.

  • Ensures adherence to all Company principles and policies.

Qualifications and Skills

• University Degree, Diploma or related education in Marketing, eCommerce or similar field; MBA an asset.

• Have a passion for digital marketing and eCommerce with a vision to drive step changes in traditional organizations.

• Analytically driven with experience working with digital analytics.

• Must have previous experience managing direct reports.

• Creative, highly organized, self-motivated person.
