Job Description: Under the direction of the Director of Staff Services, the Scheduling Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the senior and staff schedulers that work in the Scheduling Office or satellite offices. The Manager provides knowledge and expertise in the scheduling and timekeeping duties performed by the scheduling staff and participates in the development and implementation of scheduling processes, policies and procedures. The Manager provides guidance, coaching and problem solving assistance to staff.

Experience

  • Experience in an unionized environment
  • Experience in leadership
  • Three (3) to five (5) years position related experience is required.
  • Proven knowledge of scheduling related policies, practices and business processes pertinent to a unionized health care environment is preferred.

Education

  • Human Resources diploma
  • Human Resources certificate
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Must have specialized training in electronic scheduling systems.
  • A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
