Currently looking for a Sales Representative / Client Relations person
This position is responsible for the selling of transportation services. Focus is, but not limited to, domestic and cross border over the road shipments.
Tasks:
- Responsible for complete order management (end to end)
- Key communication link with customers on front-line issues
- Provide feedback to Dispatch & Management on areas of opportunity or concern
- Work with Customers regular day to day operations & get feedback
Also; Generating & qualifying leads; Going through the sales process; Negotiating rates; Customer service; Building long term relationships with shippers
What we are looking for
- English (Required)
- French (Comprehensive)
- Must have exceptional interpersonal, communication and good negotiation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment while quickly learning job duties
- Understanding of transport industry, specifically domestic and cross border shipments. Post-secondary degree in Logistics/ Transportation or a related discipline will be considered an asset
- Candidate must possess a good knowledge of North American geography
- Self-starter with good judgment, well organized, professional and detail oriented individual
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure and take on additional task
- Comfortable and effective in a computerized environment. Strong ability to clearly and professionally communicate with customers via email and phone. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
